Police are investigating after 18 hay bales were stolen from a property on the Rawbrae Road just outside Whitehead.
They were taken sometime between 8pm last night and 10am this morning.
We're told the bales are usually valued between £15-£20 each, however, due to the recent warm weather their value has increased to around £30 each.
It's likely a number of vehicles would have been required to lift and transport these items.
The PSNI is appealing to anyone with information in relation to this incident to contact them by calling 101 quoting reference 445 of August 10th.
