A four-star boutique hotel has finally got the go-ahead for construction at Killeavy Castle.

The £5m project will see 90 full-time jobs created once completed.
Works on the grade A listed castle which sits on 330 acres, will begin early next year.
Owner Mick Boyle bought the run-down castle at auction in 2013 for £1.19m.

It's understood the castle building will house an function centre, the hotel and spa will be a new build in the Slieve Gullion grounds.
Mr Boyle says the hotel will be the "jewel of South Armagh".

Newry and Armagh MLA Justin McNulty praised the hard work involved in getting the go-ahead for the Armagh hotel.
Speaking on Q Cafe he said, "It's a tremendously positive development for the local area... I think the movement in recent years has been towards health and wellness, breaks away to boutique-style hotels. The positive spin offs from having a tourist attraction I guess, in Armagh on the slopes of Slieve Gullion - unbelievable."

The hotel is planned to be open to the public in 2018.
