A no deal post Brexit outcome with the EU could result in a cross-border bonanza for criminal gangs here.

The grim prediction was given by Justice Minister Naomi Long at a meeting of the Northern Ireland Affairs Committee at Westminster.

Mrs. Long was outlining the challenges faced by law enforcement agencies in Northern Ireland from the start of next year.
