Northern Ireland Ambulance Service has said sorry to patients forced to wait a long time for paramedics because of a huge increase in demand.

Yesterday - calls across the province were up 20% on the same day in 2016... in Belfast alone that figure was 50%.

Medical Director, Nigel Ruddle has told Q Radio the number of incidents has been unprecedented.
