Officers are appealing for witnesses after a number of break-ins in the area yesterday.

Thieves targeted a house in Acton Village.

Another home in Rathfriland Street in Loughbrickland was also burgled during the day time.

Police say Barban Heights in Dromore was also robbed.

They're keen to locate four men who were seen in the area, wearing hi-vis jackets.

They were acting suspiciously in a grey or metallic Saab in the Brannock Meadows area of Poyntzpass.

Meanwhile witnesses to an attempted break-in in Camlough are being urged to contact police.

It happened on Friday night in the Brigids Park area.

A silver-coloured car and a black jeep with four men in it were seen in the area.

Witnesses can contact police by dialling 101.
