The missing teenager was last seen in 1994

A new search for missing teenager Arlene Arkinson has ended and nothing suspicious has been found.

The fifteen-year-old from Castlederg vanished after a night out in County Donegal in 1994.

She was last seen with the convicted child killer Robert Howard.

He'd been acquitted of her murder but was still the main suspect in the case, up until his death in prison last year.

New searches for the County Tyrone teenager's body were started yesterday, after farmer Noel Doherty said he noticed land which may have been disturbed in Killen.

Forensic experts had predicted it could take some time to carry out their tests on site, but say found nothing untoward.

The Arkinson family has been informed.
