Local representatives say they're shocked by the news 70 permanent jobs are to go at a milk processing plant in Banbridge.
Staff at Armaghdown Creameries have been told the facility is switching to operating on a seasonal basis.
It means the Rathfriland Road factory is likely to shut next month, before reopening in March.
