Liam chats with a passerby in the Diamond, Ballymoney

By Q Radio News

Ballymoney's Black Santa says he's "humbled" by the generosity of those who've turned up to donate during his annual sit out in Ballymoney.

For the last twelve years Liam Beckett has take up residence in the Diamond area collecting money for local charities including The Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul, The Samaritans, Drop Inn Ministries and Compass Advocacy.

Braving the elements Liam says he never fails to be surprised by the generosity of the public who often travel many miles to add to his charity coffers.

This year he'll be on the street until close of business on Christmas Eve or as he put it: "until the bustle dies down".
