The Banbridge Christmas tree branded the worst in Northern Ireland has been removed and replaced.

It left locals on Newry Street full of festive cheer...

Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon council sent in two wise workmen to make the switch late last night.

Appropriately, the staff had seasonal names - Stephen and NO-EL, sorry Noel!
