Border councils demand Brexit cash at European Parliament

Councils in border areas have presented a report to European Parliament demanding Brexit transition cash.

The cross-community document recommends 11 councils on either side should receive multi-million pound "transition assistance".

Agriculture, fishing imports, small businesses, community services and health services are specified.

The report also makes recommendations for cross-border projects including infrastructure and the Good Friday Agreement.
