The Secretary of State says every day Northern Ireland is getting closer to powersharing being restored.
Karen Bradley was asked about the political crisis here after holding talks with EU officials in Brussels.
She told reporters: "We're working constantly to... I meet with all the party leaders very regularly and I know that there is a real desire and wish to get people back into Stormont and to have that executive in place. But there are some issues to overcome and we're working on them".
Asked, "Are you getting closer though?" Ms Bradley responded that "I think every day we're getting closer".
