The owners of the Canal Court have hit out at rumours the Newry hotel has been sold.
The McParland Family has issued a statement saying the family-owned business is NOT for sale.
The statement says the family has invested heavily over the years in the Canal Court Hotel & Spa and its sister property the Carrickdale Hotel & Spa, bringing many jobs to the area.
And the family adds it saddens them to feel someone has started these totally unfounded rumours, causing distress for their employees and customers alike.
