The maiden voyage of the cross-border Carlingford Ferry is on schedule for the June 2nd.
Local residents, both sides of the lough, have received invitations to a launch the day before.
Works are almost complete on terminals in Greencastle and Greenore at a cost of £8.5 million pounds.
It'll be the first ferry to cross Carlingford Lough with vehicles as well as passengers.
