Derry City and Strabane District Council have launched a Christmas voucher initiative.
They’re working with local businesses to offer a discount voucher booklet for shops, hotels and restaurants over the Christmas period.
Councillor Patricia Logue said:
“Any initiative that helps local businesses and consumers has to be welcomed.
“It’s often said that the income in the final quarter of the year is vital in keeping the doors open of many businesses in Derry and Strabane.
“I hope this voucher scheme will encourage more people to shop local and support the hospitality industry over the Christmas period.”
