Cross border projects could lose out on a hundred and twenty million euros of E.U funding.

That's from Newry and Mourne MLA Conor Murphy.
He says the Executive are trying to work through holdups to get paperwork ready by the end of November, and that British and Irish governments need to act to break 'funding log jam'.

"My party colleague and Finance Minister Máirtín Ó Muilleoir told the Assembly today that there is currently a log jam of letters of offer for EU funding worth €120 million.

It's understood the funding is to be allocated to cross-border, environmental and health projects.

Mr Murphy added, "Great efforts had been made to speed up funding applications to help the work of a range of groups.
"This log jam has been brought about because of the uncertainty over Brexit."
