Locals started night patrols in the area after a series of robberies and attempted break-ins

A crime spree in Camlough and Bessbrook has brought neighbours closer together.

That's from Declan Murphy chair of the Camlough Community Association.

Neighbourhood Watch schemes have been set up, and more locals are checking in on each other.

It follows reports of more than fourteen burglaries during a two-week period.
