Concerns have been raised recently in the Omagh area, about vehicles parking on the footpath, particularly outside shops.
By doing this, they are obstructing the path for pedestrians.
Last week, officers from Omagh Neighbourhood Policing Team issued a £30 ticket to a vehicle that was parked on a footpath.
Sgt. Hamill said, "In the short time it took the officers to deal with this incident, a lady with a guide dog and a lady with a pushchair both came along.
While the lady with the guide dog was able to pass (albeit with diffiiculty), the second lady had to walk out on to the road in order to get by.
Please have consideration for others. What's convenient for you might well prove inconvenient or even dangerous for others."
