A local councillor says it is a "shocking revelation" that potholes on rural roads won't be filled by Transport NI unless they're more than four inches deep.
It follows a recent visit by a Transport NI engineer to Dromintee and Jonesborough.
Councillor Mickey Larkin says despite lobbying and engagement, "continuous and damaging budget cuts to vital services was having a real impact on the local community."
He added cost is always sited as the reason for not carrying out work, but roads maintenance needs to be a priority:
