Covid-19: Five deaths, 791 new cases

Five more people have died after testing positive for Covid-19 with one of those deaths occurring outside the most recent 24-hour reporting period.

There are 460 people in hospital who have tested positive and four of them are in ICU with one person being ventilated.

And 791 new positive cases have been reported in the past 24 hours.

The death toll stands at 3,377 and there are outbreaks in 120 care homes.

Nine hospitals are operating over capacity today.

Meanwhile, the Office for National Statistics says infection rates are falling.

It says one in 19 people had the virus last week, down from one in 16 the previous week.
