Covid-19: Four deaths, 2,294 new cases

Four more people have died in the past 24 hours after having tested positive for Covid-19.

A further 2,294 new cases have been recorded.

There are 480 people in hospital who have tested positive for coronavirus and six of them are in ICU.

All six are being ventilated.

Nine hospitals have more patients than beds today.

The death toll since the pandemic began stands at 3,193.

There are 163 care home outbreaks.

The age group with the highest percentage of new cases in the past seven days is those aged 35 to 39.
