Covid-19: Two deaths, 588 new cases

Two more people have died after having tested positive for Covid-19 with one death occurring outside the most recent 24-hour reporting period

There are 380 people in hospital who have tested positive and five of them are in ICU.

Two Covid patients are being ventilated.

Seven hospitals are operating over capacity today and there are outbreaks in 119 care homes.

The death toll since the pandemic began stands at 3,393.
