Crowdfunding campaign launched in legal challenge against Tory-DUP deal

It's understood a crowdfunding campaign has been started by the Green Party's Ciaran McClean, to pay for a judicial review.

Last month it was reported he would potentially seek to challenge the parliamentary deal between the Tories and the DUP.

That was on the basis it contravenes terms in the Good Friday Agreement and the Bribery Act.

The confidence-and-supply agreement between the Conservatives and the Democratic Unionists was signed on June 26.

It set aside provisions for £1 billion of funding for a range of services in Northern Ireland.
