A cyclist has died after being struck by a car in Portadown.
It happened on the Gilford Road just after 9.30pm on Wednesday. The road has now re-opened.
The PSNI's Inspector Johnstone said: “Shortly after 9:35pm, it was reported that a red Hyundai Tuscon and a cyclist were involved in the incident. The cyclist, who was treated at the scene sadly died as a result of his injuries.
“Our enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who has dash-cam footage available, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1927 11/11/20.”
Sinn Fein MLA John O'Dowd, said his thoughts are with the victim's loved ones.
“I was saddened to hear of the death of a man in a collision on the Gilford Road in Portadown.
“My thoughts are with the family, friends and loved ones of this man at this sad and difficult time.
“An investigation into to collision is underway and I would appeal for anyone with information on what happened to get in touch with the police.”
