A defibrillator has went missing from a Spar on the Coleraine Road Portstewart
Police have appealed for assistance in relation to the theft of a defibrillator from the Spar on the Coleraine Road Portstewart. The equipment was stolen in the early hours of morning Sunday the 27th November. CCTV shows it was stolen by two males who walked up the Coleraine Road in the direction Coleraine.
It is the second time this has been stolen this month, it has recently been returned, before being taken again.
The PSNI said that the device "cost £1800 but the cost of someone in our community having access to it when it is needed, is priceless." adding that "The consequences of this could be fatal."
If anyone saw this happen, they are asked to ring 101 quoting 463 dated 27/11/2016.
