Bishop's Gate Hotel has been named one of the best places to stay in the UK.
Opened in March last year, the five-star hotel came second in the 2017 Trip Advisor Travellers’ Choice awards.
The top spot was claimed by London's Hotel 41.

Formerly the Northern Counties Building, the 31 room hotel is based on Bishop Street within the city walls.
It was restored by the Inner City Buildings Preservation Trust, a subsidiary of the Inner City Trust which is dedicated to preserving the unique built heritage of the 17th century Walled City.
The Grade B1 listed building was once a private members club and base for the city’s business and civic leaders, playing host to Winston Churchill among others.
