A Dungannon singer says he is ‘still in shock’ after receiving rave reviews for his performance on the television show Let It Shine.

Deaglan Arthurs who’s 19, has secured a place in the next round of the contest.

He’s a former pupil of St Joseph's Grammar in Donaghmore.

And he’s appeared in amateur productions at the Bardic Theatre.

Let It Shine is the brainchild of Gary Barlow.

Young performers battle it out in the hope of securing one of five slots in a stage show.
