Four men are being questioned by police a 'pipe bomb style device' was found in the garden shed of a pensioner's Strabane home.
Police had cordoned off an area of the Drumrallagh Estate at 10am this morning, after they discovered a suspicious object at an elderly couple’s home while searching three properties.
Eight families were evacuated from their houses while Army Technical Officers carried out an investigation.
Earlier young people attacked police vehicles with stones and masonry.
Cordons have now been removed and families have been allowed back into their homes.
