The Derry-Londonderry man who died after a crash on the Donegal border on Saturday night has been named locally as Emmett McClelland.
Mr McClelland, who was in his 20s, was struck by a car near the Frontier Bar while walking home from celebrating the christening of his newborn son.
A second man injured in the crash was not seriously injured.
The driver of the car was arrested by Gardai at the scene and has since been released without charge.
Gardai are appealing to anybody who was in the vicinity of the crash to contact them.
