A report from the local authority's Regeneration and Community Committee has shown that the Project St. Patrick committee has not received Arts Council funding for the year of 2017.
The organisers who are responsible for the celebrations that take place on March 17 every year in Enniskillen, were supposed to get £5,000 for this year.
They've now made a request for an additional £4,000 that can be used towards delivering an arts programme, workshops and floats, otherwise the overall experience and quality of the parade would be affected for those in attendance.
The report further presented to the committee, stated that they would receive extra money through a projected underspend in the council's Large Festivals and Events budget for the 2016/2017 financial year.
After analysing previous years of the annual parades in Enniskillen and Omagh, it showed that they attracted around 15,000 spectators; further bringing a positive economic and financial impact to the area.
