Ex Down GAA star's son suffers brain injury after bike fall

A former Down GAA star's hopeful his son will recover after suffering a brain injury on Saturday.

Shane King's thanked people for their show of support in messages and prayers.

His 15 year-old, Patrick, was riding downhill in Rostrevor's Kilbroney Park when he came off his bike.

His parents have been at his bedside in the intensive care unit at Craigavon Area Hospital since the accident.
