Firefighters have been dealing with several gorse fires on Cave Hill in north Belfast.
The Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service say there's no risk to life or property, nearby residents should keep their doors and windows closed.
Several fires have been raging overnight at six separate areas on the Cavehill north of Belfast.
The Cavehill Country Park has been closed and firefighters have been in attendance monitoring the situation all night.
At first light more detailed assessments of the situation were to be made ahead of more crews being deployed into the park.
It is believed the fires have been set deliberately because of the number of separate seats of ignition.
One firefighter described those that set the fires as “Absolute Morons”.
