Four arrested after stolen car crashes into other vehicles and disrupts traffic in Lisburn

Four men have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences following reports of a car being driven dangerously and disrupting traffic. 

A silver car was reportedly driving on the wrong side of the Saintfield Road shortly after 8.30am, when it collided with a number of other vehicles. 

There are no reports of any injuries at this time. 

Police believe the vehicle involved was stolen from a house at the Maze Park area of the city, sometime between 11pm on Tuesday 28th May and 7.30am on Wednesday 29th May. 

Entry was gained into the property and a number of items were also taken during the incident, with the car. 

It is also believed the same vehicle was involved in reports of dangerous driving near the Moira Roundabout at around 8.25am. 

The suspects, two aged 16-years-old, one 17-year-old and a 23-year-old, were arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, using a motor vehicle without insurance and aggravated vehicle taking causing damage to the vehicle. 

All four remain in police custody.
