'Four yes's' school choir to perform at chair's charity ball

St Patrick's Drumgreenagh school choir will perform at the chair's charity ball on Friday.

A local school choir, that wowed a panel on Britain's Got Talent, will perform at the council chair's inaugural charity ball.

St Patrick's school in Drumgreenagh received four yeses at their audition which was televised on the twenty-ninth of April.

They'll sing Kean's 'Somewhere Only We Know' as guests arrive for a drinks reception.

The ball's to take place on Friday evening at the Canal Court Hotel.

Councillor Gillian Fitzpatrick says all are welcome to come and support good causes. She said, “I am delighted that Mrs McCaughey and her talented pupils will perform their award-winning song to start our Gala Evening in such a magical way.

"Many of us watched with awe as the Choir astounded the Britain’s Got Talent judges and I am so excited and honoured that they have agreed to sing for me at the start of the Ball."
