Fresh appeal follows attempted theft

Police have issued a fresh appeal for information about an attempted burglary in Newcastle.

A man wearing sunglasses and a hat was found in the till area at The Barbican shop.

He ran off when he was challenged.

It happened on the 2nd March at around 9:20pm.

Anyone with information is asked to get in touch with police by dialling 101.
