The Police Ombudsman has released more information surrounding the death of Gerard McMahon following an incident in Belfast city centre last Thursday.
The 36 year old from the Short Strand area of the city died after being arrested at around 5am.
CS spray was deployed by police after a number of incidents with taxi drivers in the Great Victoria Street area.
Investigators say Gerard was seen at a number of locations in the city centre between 2am and 5am.
He left a nightclub near Patterson's Place wearing a turquoise colour Firetrap T-shirt, with black jeans and trainers.
He then moved to the Howard Street area, behind the City Hall, and was partially undressed by around 3am before moving to the Friendly Street area of The Markets.
It's believed he was involved in altercations with taxi drivers at around 4.30am beofre police arrived and used the CS spray.
Mr.McMahon was then rushed to hospital where he later died.
His family have called for a swift and thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
The Ombudsman's office say they have a wide range of CCTV footage, but have asked for any other details which may help their investigation.
