Footage for the penultimate season of the hit show taking place at the Ballycastle landmark
There are only two seasons of Game of Thrones remaining, so Northern Ireland should savour every minute left of its association with the hit show. Filming today began on the seventh and penultimate season at Fairhead today.
The crew are expected to record footage at the Ballycastle landmark throughout the remainder of the week. The show has descended on the North Coast before, with Ballintoy Harbour and Downhill Beach appearing in previous episodes.
Show runners Damon Lindeloff and D.B Weiss indicated that there would be two seasons remaining before concluding the show. So the Starks and Lannisters aren't quite done with Northern Ireland just yet
