It happened at a house on Whitehill Road in the Co Antrim village at around 7pm last night.

They threw fuel on to his legs and lit the fuel they had poured around the house and over his Range Rover.

It is not known if the man was injured.

Police said one of the suspects was described as being over six feet tall and of stocky build with green eyes.

A second was described as being around 30-years-old while the third was around five feet eight inches tall and of thin build.
