Halawa's Egyptian trial delayed for 16th time.

The trial of Irishman, Ibrahim Halawa, has been postponed in Egypt for the 16th time.

The 20 year old from Dublin was arrested in August 2013 during political protests in Cairo.

Politicians on both sides of the Irish Border have been campaigning for his release.

Family members claim he's being regularly beaten and tortured.

The mass trial, involving almost 500 defendants, has been adjourned until December.

Mr Halawa's solicitor, Darragh Mackin, says the delay was due to the non-appearance in court of a number of defendants.
