Police in Mid Ulster are continuing to investigate an assault that occurred in Perry Street, Dungannon close to Hallidays Bar.
A spokesperson for Dungannon PSNI said:
"At approximately 2am on 27th December 2017, a 17 year old male was assaulted and had to receive treatment in hospital for his injuries.
"The assailant is described as being in his early 20's and wearing a distinctive black crosshatch jacket.
"We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact Police at Dungannon Station on 101 quoting CCS reference number 1282 of 27th December 2017.
"Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111."
