Air Accident Investigators are expecting to recover the wreckage of a plane involved in a fatal crash in County Antrim this weekend.

The light aircraft was seen circling, before it took a nosedive and came down near Nutts Corner yesterday lunchtime.

Two people were killed and have not been formally identified yet.

The Air Accident Investigation Branch had a team on site yesterday who have been examining the wreckage and started a field investigation.

A spokesperson for the branch said they're expecting to recover what's left of the plane and take it back to a facility in the South of England for a more detailed examination.

We've been told it'll take some time for a final accident report to be put together.
