An Irish world cycling champion says a bucket list he made before committing suicide, saved his life.

Breifne Earley was speaking before signing his book 'Pedal the Planet' in Newry later.
It's about a round the world cycle which he'd put on a list of things to achieve before taking his life.
The book addresses his journey from the brink, and mental health.
It's an issue that Breifne says, is NOT spoken about enough:

"If we break our arm or we hurt ourselves or we cut ourselves, we go and and we fix it, we to the hospital if we hurt ourselves physically. But we don't want to talk about the issues that are concerning us mentally. And that's what I'm trying to raise awareness of - it's just as important to be mentally okay as it is to be physically okay."
