People in Mid-Ulster have donated generously to Kevin Carey’s fundraising appeal for pioneering brain tumour treatment.
Kevin, a former Portglenone footballer was given the news exactly one year ago that he had an aggressive, cancerous brain tumour.
He was 35 at the time.
He is set to undergo pioneering treatment costing over £200,000. Neurosurgeons have removed around 95 per cent of the tumour.
Any surplus cash will go to Brain Tumour Research.
