Two separate public meetings on health services, to be held in Newry tonight, are being welcomed despite the clash.
A consultation on reshaping stroke services and a forum on Daisy Hill's Emergency Department will get underway half an hour apart.
The Trust's Pathfinder Group will hold their meeting at 7pm at the WIN industrial centre, while the meeting on stroke services will start at 6:30pm at the Canal Court Hotel.
Spokesperson for Save Daisy Hill committee Seana Grant is urging locals to choose the one to which they feel they can contribute most:
