A 34 year-old woman and a 31 year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences in Belfast.
It's after a car was stopped at the Claremont Street area of South Belfast at around 5.40pm yesterday evening.
This led to two property searches in the north and south of the city, resulting in the arrests.
Suspected herbal cannabis was seized with an estimated street value of £4,000, as well as £5,000 cash and drug paraphernalia.
Sergeant Barton said, “The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug and possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.
"The male was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class B drugs and possession of Class B drugs with intent to supply.
"Both have been released on police bail pending further enquiries."
