A man has been released by police after another man was stabbed in Newry, Co Down.
The incident happened after an altercation outside a property in the Sugar Island area of the city at about 8.40pm on Sunday.
The victim, in his 20s, received a stab wound to the leg.
He was taken to hospital for treatment for the non-life threatening injury.
A 47-year-old man was arrested shortly after on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
Police said on Monday he had been released on bail pending further inquiries.
Police have appealed to anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
