A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Andrew Allen in Co Donegal.
Mr Allen, 24, from Londonderry, was shot at a house in Buncrana in February 2012.
The Garda arrested a suspect, aged in his early 50s, on Saturday in Co Donegal.
He is being questioned at Letterkenny Garda Station.
The victim, who was from the Top of the Hill in the Waterside area of the city, was one of several intimidated out of the city by dissident republicans.
He had moved to the Links View estate in Buncrana, where he was gunned down through a window after a group of men tried to break down the front door.
The attack had been blamed on the Republican Action Against Drugs group.
