Man arrested on suspicion of attempting to meet child following sexual grooming

A forty year old man has been arrested in Coleraine on suspicion of attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming.

It's understood a group calling itself " Justice Reborn" confronted the man at an address in the town on Sunday prior to his arrest.

Following a planned police search at a property in the area - a number of items were removed for further examination.

The suspect has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
