A man has been attacked in his home in Comber after masked men armed with bats forced their way inside.
The gang of three searched the property on Upper Crescent at around 6.30pm last night.
The occupant was struck on his arm, leg and head before the intruders made off empty handed.
A woman escaped injury.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Detectives are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at a property in the Upper Crescent area of Comber on Saturday evening.
"It was reported that at around 6:30 pm three masked men armed with bats forced their way into the property.
"The men carried out a search of the house before assaulting the male occupant, who was struck with the bat on his arm, leg and head.
"A woman in the property at the time was uninjured.
"The three assailants made off from the property empty-handed."
