A man who burried himself alive in an East Belfast church yard has spent his first night underground.

John Edwards is live streaming from a specially built coffin to raise awareness of addiction and mental health issues.

The 62 year old, who's a former drug and alcohol addict, says it's because too many people are running into an early grave.

He was burried four foot underground yesterday afternoon at Willowfield Church.

The Christian campaigner will re-surface on Friday afternoon before delivering a number of speeches at the Church on Sunday.

John's using his "Walking Free" campaign to try and reach out to those struggline with other aspects of their lives.

He was burried alive last year in a similar stunt and says he reached millions of people world wide.
