A man's been charged in connection with a stabbing in Lisburn on New Years Day.
A 27 year old woman was taken to hospital following the incident at Iniscarn Close, in the early hours of the morning.
The suspect - also aged 27 - is due before Lisburn Magistrates later charged with offences including GBH with intent.
A PSNI statement said, "A 27-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, criminal damage and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place."
"He is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday 2 January."
"As is normal procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service."
